ENDORSEMENTS
“I wholeheartedly support Nicki Brammer for our new school board.
As a parent who saw firsthand the incredible work Nicki did at Mighty Montessori Preschool, I can say with complete confidence that she is exactly the kind of thoughtful, capable, and community-minded leader we need on our new school board. She brings compassion, vision, and real leadership to everything she does.
At Mighty Montessori, Nicki’s dedication to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and intellectually rich environment was evident every day. She built a preschool that felt like a second home, one where kids thrived and families felt supported. Her attention to each child’s development, her deep respect for families, and her commitment to excellence made a lasting impression on me and so many others. She didn’t just run a school—she built a community.
As we get our new school district off the ground, we need someone like Nicki representing our area. She understands what it takes to design a school system that truly puts kids first. She brings both vision and practicality—someone who can dream big and also roll up her sleeves and get things done. She knows how to build something meaningful from the ground up.
Nicki knows our community. She listens. She leads with integrity. And she brings a wealth of experience in education that will be invaluable as we shape policies that affect every stage of learning. We’ll be better served to have her representing us.
Nicki has my full support—and our schools will be stronger with her on the board.”
— Melissa Adams, Educator, Parent, Community Member
“Nicki has been outstanding in many different positions that advocate for students, teachers and our community. From formal leadership of the Utah Association for Gifted Children to supporting roles on several different school community councils. She has first-hand experience with gifted services, dual language immersion and special education. As a parent I know that she will tirelessly advocate for students. As a teacher I am grateful for the input she seeks from professionals. As a community member and tax payer, it is reassuring to know that she will help build the highest quality school district while using our money wisely. I am happy to endorse her for Aspen Peaks School Board.”
— Tim Zito, Parent, Educator and Community Member
"It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Nicki Brammer for election to the Aspen Peak’s School Board. As a dedicated and involved parent, Nicki has consistently shown a deep commitment to the students, families, and educators in our community.
With children who have experienced both the challenges and successes of elementary and secondary schools, Nicki Brammer has a firsthand understanding of unique student needs. Whether advocating for the specialized support our students in special education deserve or pushing for advanced opportunities for those in advanced placement courses, Nicki strives to help all students.
I serve on the board of the Utah Association for Gifted Children and nominated Nicki to join the board a few years ago. Her passion for advocating and supporting gifted students and high-ability instruction quickly moved her from a board member to the association's current president. This is a non-profit organization, and the position is voluntary.
Nicki Brammer attends school board meetings and volunteers at school events. This level of engagement speaks to her dedication for improving the educational experience for students in our new district. She is actively involved in the Aspen Peak’s community. She listens to the community and advocates for local needs. Nicki demonstrates a clear understanding of the diverse needs of our district. She has a vision of the future of our schools. Her vision includes preparing students for the next grade, creating an environment where every child can succeed, and putting them on a path to success, no matter their background or educational path.
If you want a school board member who is deeply connected to our local schools, fully committed to meeting the educational needs of every child, and connected to our school district community, I strongly recommend Nicki Brammer for office."
— Shari Taylor, Educator, UAGC Board Member, Community Member
“Nikki is a mother and a friend. She shares my values. Not only does she understand the issues, but she also understands how to work with teachers, parents and administrators to make our new district the very best school district it can be. Please join me in supporting Nikki Brammer for school board. Thank you!”
— Joel Wright, Former Utah State School Board Member and Community Member
“I had originally filed to run for this local school board seat because I felt how critical this election cycle is as we begin creating our new school district. When I visited with Nicki, I quickly learned that she has put in hundreds of hours already studying the issues and the new district’s financial feasibility in a way that she is light years ahead of the rest of us. Nicki is best prepared to lead us through the start-up phase of this district.
My biggest concern is having our new district focus on education without the political agenda, and I know that Nicki has been working hard for several years now to keep our schools focused on improving academics and student outcomes. Nicki has been a consistent conservative advocating against discriminatory trends in our schools (like those pushed by DEI directors), sexualized books in school libraries, and previous pandemic craziness. I know she will keep our taxes low and stop these yearly tax increases that we’ve seen the last several years in the Alpine School District. Please join me in voting for Nicki Brammer for School Board Seat 3!”
— Kim Delgrosso, Parent and Community Member
“Nicki has been an active member of our community for many years. She is smart, effective and engaged. Her tireless advocacy for Highland and Utah County is truly impressive. I’m confident that Nicki will be a strong champion for students, parents and taxpayers on the Aspen Peaks School Board.”
— Skyler Beltran, former Utah County Republican Party Chairman and
current Utah County Commissioner
“Nicki Brammer is the right person at the right time to lead out for our new school district. She is conservative and thoughtful and brings the necessary principles and skills to solve problems and recognize opportunities for our new school district. I encourage you to vote for Nicki!”
— Kristen Chevrier, Representative
“As a current member of the Board of Education for Alpine School District, I have witnessed the need and the importance of having a functioning and collaborative school board. While Nicki and I have had our differing views on some issues, we both believe in the advocacy of families and making sure a school district reflects the values of the local community. Nicki is dedicated to serving her community and I’ve witnessed her unwavering dedication to public service. Her intellect, diligence, and commitment to our community are clear. She’s smart, driven, and not afraid to dig into the tough issues. Nicki would be an asset to the new Aspen Peaks District. I invite you to join me in supporting Nicki Brammer for school board.”
— Sarah Beeson, Alpine School District Board of Education
“Nicki Brammer has been directly involved in working to solve various issues in our community for years, whether they be city, school district, or state level ones. She is a force for good and she has my full support as a board candidate for the school district she helped shape.”
— Rod Mann, Utah County Assessor and former Highland Mayor
“I wholeheartedly endorse Nicki Brammer for school board. Yes, she is my wife (and I endorse her as a wife too) :). However, let's get specific as to why I feel she is right for this position. Nicki is good to the core, collaborative, tough, smart, and digs in when she sees a problem. When our kids had a bad experience in gifted classes, she didn't just move them out of the class—rather, she started volunteering and learning about gifted classrooms so others would not have the same experience. Now she is the current president of the Utah Association for Gifted Children.
Here are five more reasons she is right for this position:
As a proponent of the new district, she has studied past district splits extensively to understand how to structure this district to succeed.
She knows property taxes have gone up 6 of the last 7 years and citizens need a break.
She knows public education is only as good as our teachers and our resources are best spent in classrooms and not district administration.
She knows we must reward merit while also giving a lifting hand to those that need it. Education on the basis of identity politics is wrong and illegal.
She knows that schools are a place for education, not indoctrination.
Honestly, Nicki and I thought a lot about this election because we know it will be a sacrifice for our family. However, she is doing this because she is the right person, with the right skills, and the right knowledge to get our new district off the ground.”
